JustBahraini is blocked by the Ministry of Information
I don’t know what the rationale used at our respected Ministry of Information to block this particular site, a site which I created in order to find common ground between all Bahrainis regardless of confessionalism or religious belonging.
I personally have reviewed all the articles published and could not see anything that could offend the censor.
Regardless, and although justbahraini.org being dormant for such a long time, I shall keep this website available as an archive on the Internet to act as a witness to very good people’s efforts who sought to find paths to rapprochement rather than exacerbate the sectarian situation by selectively blocking websites.

Haaq and the buttons
It has come to my attention that the political movement Haaq has distributed the Just Bahraini buttons during the Ashoora commemoration. It also appears that the buttons were distributed at the same time as they were campaigning for a political petition.
While I do not want to politicise the Just Bahraini campaign, I recognise that others can, did and will politicise it with or without my consent to their own ends. I have no control over this and each is responsible for their own actions.
For the record, I have distributed 7,000 buttons during this year’s Ashoora and I do not know nor could I control how and where they are distributed.
All I hope to have achieved is for people to recognise the danger in sectarianism and think of ways to combat it in themselves first and then in others around them.
